As surprising as it may seem, growing up I always dreamed of becoming an athlete. My favorite sports were soccer and basketball and boy did I think was hot stuff. As I got older I realized given the chances (and my skill level) professional athlete was NOT going to happen. Instead, I decided to work WITH athletes and went to school to get certified in Physical Therapy and worked at a local PT clinic for about 3 years. It was going great. Makeup was just a fun hobby I would randomly do for friends. However, I burnt out in the medical field during the pandemic. Not only that but I managed to plan my ENTIRE wedding within the two weeks lockdown. But, I ended up canceling everything I worked so hard planning for and re-planned a 15 person "pandemic wedding". Giving up my "Dream Wedding" was physically and emotionally exhausting. And having an autoimmune condition definitely did not help. So, I ditched medical and got hired as a Bridal Stylist at a Bridal Boutique. I knew I loved weddings, but wow. Taking care of brides, hearing their unique lives and how how they fell in love. Ugh! I knew I needed to stay in the Bridal Business. What started as a 2016 high-school junior obsessed with YouTubers like Jaclyn Hill, NikkiTutorials and Manny MUA moved onto 2018 Instagram digital journal, which turned into 2019 getting random DMs from friends for events and is now a full blown business established in 2021! Now working as a part-time Makeup Artist and a part-time habilitation provider for kids with Autism, I could not be happier with my career and all the beautiful people I have connected with along the way! Ugh, I just love, LOVE!
